Bajaj Chetak scooter that once ruled the Indian roads was discontinued in 2006. But the good news is that the scooter is coming back in a new avatar.
The news of the revival of Chetak scooter is surfacing online after Bajaj Auto got the brand 'Chetak' re-registered. However, unlike the predecessor that had manual gear system, the new Chetak scooter is likely to be equipped with automatic gears. And the scooter is expected to come in e-scooter avatar.
In terms of its outlooks, the scooter will most probably feature the retro styling just like the old model. To be more specific, the overall look of the scooter will be strong with wide front apron, curved side panels, and large rearview mirror. Similarly, it is expected to feature alloy wheels, front, and rear disc brakes, LED headlamps and tail lights.
