Bajaj is planning to launch 125cc motorcycle under one of the most celebrated brand-Pulsar in India. The bike will be their most affordable Pulsar and is expected to be launched in the next few weeks.
The inclusion of ABS and BS-VI emission norms has resulted in the price hike of the pulsar 150. Therefore, the idea behind the introduction of a 125cc variant is to offer an affordable product. Bajaj is also planning to launch NS125 that will under the NS 200 umbrella and will be bit expensive compared to the Pulsar 125.
In terms of its mechanics, the bike is expected to we expect to use the same 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with a four valve head and a five-speed gearbox. The motor generates 13.05hp at 9000rpm and 11.4Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. However, these figures may change slightly in case of Pulsar 125.
The price of Pulsar 125 is expected to be around INR 60-65,000.
