Yamaha Motors has issued a recall for its Yamaha YZF-R3 over defects related to the radiator hose and spring torsion. The Japanese company claims that there are chances of leakage of coolant from the radiator because of the defect.
Yamaha has recalled YZF-R3 three times including this. 1,874 units of the motorcycle between July 2015 and May 2018 are being recalled globally to fix this issue. Yamaha claims that no any problems about the bike have been reported as of today, so this recall is voluntary.
The Japanese company has said that this defect will be fixed free of cost. Yamaha will contact each affected owners and will ask them to bring the bike to the nearest service center where the modified parts will replace the defective ones.
